The viewer is invited to connect; to become a part of the art. With the glass in between as a barrier, a connection is made once the participant and artist’s palms meet. During the connection, a fragment of the connectee’s face is documentated, or archived by drawing on a clear page.
The transparent page is connection documentation that will become a larger installation project.
These connections were documented during the Covid-19 pandemic when galleries were closed.

The viewer is invited to connect while outside of the gallery space. The gallery was not open due to the pandemic. With the glass in between as a barrier, a connection is made once the participant and artist’s palms meet.
Connection is an invitation for the viewer to connect with a clear barrier between conectees. A partial section of the connectee is marked directly on a transparency (a drawing) to document and archive the connection for the creation of a project in progress.
